Hey Tricia~
do you happen to know if this can make the pictures themselves smaller for print? Like if I want it to be smaller than a standard 4x6, say 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 or any smaller size????

Sure! What I do when I want to make a photo smaller to print out (I do this all the time for scrapbook pages) is I make a window in Photoshop the size I want my picture and then I bring in my photo as a layer and scale it down to fit the window. Just make sure your window is at least 300 dpi in addition to the width/height you want your photo to be so it prints out at the right resolution. In Photoshop I do the Edit > Transform > Scale command to resize my pict. Tip: Hold down the Shift key while you're grabbing one of the anchors and resizing so your pict doesn't warp...the Shift key keeps the size proportional.

Another way to do this is to use the Image > Canvas size option. This just adjusts the canvas size (so width and height) and NOT the resolution size so once again, check your image size and make sure it says 300dpi. It may look huge on your screen but when you print it out it won't be.

I hope that makes sense. You might have to play with it in Photoshop for it to make complete sense.
