| I have a question about paper piercing and thought I'd post that question right here! If you do paper piercing, do you put some kind of cushion behind your paper or card to help you keep the holes the same size, if that makes sense? Do you have a paper piercing kit you like to use? I use the piercer that I have in my Making Memories Toolkit but I cannot get those holes the same size...either the paper barely looks pierced at all or it goes all the way through the paper and leaves a big hole. I think I just need to be putting something different behind my paper.... Anyways any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated!

| You can use a mouse pad. I've even used a post-it note pad in a pinch.

| I use the paper piercing guide from Stampin Up - it has different size holes as well as differently spaced holes. I used to try to "free-hand" it, but it never looked good, it was always crooked, so I bought this after using a friend's - it is great. it comes with a mat, but a mouse pad works just as well!
