My son said something today that just cracked me up...I actually had to blog it. He hates it when I drag him all over the place to do errands (sorry kid, you're 5 years old so there's not much ya can do about it right now ) and today, after dragging him to Starbucks with me, he let me know that he was really too busy for all this running around and that I was cutting into his t.v. time.

ha ha ha!

Reading funny things that kids say make's me laugh, and I know anyone with kids or who have been around kids have got stories to share. Share em' here...I'm always up for a good laugh!

Oh my where do I start???  We actually have C.C.O.T.D. Chloe Classics Of The Day hahahaha!  She's just FULL of them!

Of course I having a hard time thinking of any right now...but I do remember this one,  we were sitting at the dinner table and all of a sudden she blurts out "air tastes like nothing!" she had a shocked look on her face hahahaha!  We all just fell to the floor laughing.

I'll have to think of some more,  Iknow I wrote a bunch in my diary!

My kids are all grown now, but my oldest said something when he was about four that I remember to this day.  We were outside in the dark -- not sure why, but there we were -- and my husband asked him if he was okay in the dark.  Doug looked up at him and said, "I can see in the dark, Daddy -- I have shiny eyes."  That phrase has become part of our family vocabulary.

Oh I have a ton too!

But I'll keep this one stamp related.

I was shopping at Target, when Noah (my 5yo son) picked up a $10 Transformers COLORING book!

He said "Mom can I get this?"

me "$10! For a coloring book! Absolutely not. You have enough coloring books. You don't need to get something every time we come to the store. No way, put it back."

Noah "Please, I really want it"

me" I said no! Im not paying $10 for a coloring book when you have a bunch at home"

Noah "But mom you that a "hundreds of dolloars" of stamps, and get more everytime, why can't I get another coloring book?"

Me-"Put it in the cart, and be quite. Not another word"

Who could argue with that! A 5yo boy notices how many sets I have and how much $ I spend! LOL! The least I could do was get the book for being such a good point maker!

Take care of the kids, or stamp?
Is that really a question.
Come see what I do with MYTIME

What a clever 5yo - he worked you good!

I have one but not stamp related...my eldest daughter (now 8yo) when she was about 5 decided to start playing I-Spy,  we were driving in the car.  She said "something beginning with S" I said sky? street? sun? sidewalk? Nope.  In the end I gave in.  A big smile came on her face and she said STAR!  I told her it was the middle of the day and that I didn't see any stars..."no Mummy,  the sun is a star!"

I wasn't such a willing participant of the game from that day forward!

Here's another one,  I found my diary with a few in...

...we were shopping one evening in QFC and Lynzee asked my husband John what time QFC closed,  Chloe immediately said "I'll find out for you" and turned to the cashier and said "excuse me,  what time do you go to bed?"

She was 5 at the time

My DD came up with a good one today.  She just turned 4, and we have a 3 month old.  She said "Daddy, Alexandra likes me better, because my hands are soft to hold, and yours are hard and old"...

Also - not so much funny as cute...she likes Sicillian pizza, and she says "Can I have 'Sa-silly-an'??"  probably sounds cuter IRL, but I had to share it.
