Pixy Sticks Valentine

Stamps: Heart to Heart, Celebration Frames
Ink: Ranger Distress and Adirondack Inks -- black, pink, and red
Paper: Red, pink, and white cardstock
Other: Marvy Giga, Mega, and Super scallop circle punches, white gel pen, red and white polka-dot ribbon, SU slit punch, Pixie Sticks candy
Directions:
1. Punch out a Giga red scallop circle. Punch two half-circle slits with SU slit punch on opposite sides.
2. Write "from ___" with white gel pen on edge of circle and then slide two pixy sticks through the slits.
3. Stamp "sweets and treats" circle in black ink on white cardstock. Stamp a pink solid heart in the middle and then swirly heart on top in red. Punch out stamped image with Super scallop circle punch.
4. Punch out a Mega pink scallop circle. Layer behind the white stamped scallop circle and adhere.
5. Adhere stamped piece on top of the red scallop circle/pixy stick piece.
6. Tie two pieces of ribbon around the pixy sticks on either side of the circles.
This is an easy idea for kids school valentines!

Fluttering Heart

Stamps: Heart to Heart, Just Words
Ink: Black Staz-On and SU Pretty in Pink
Paper: Heart Explosion by Cloud 9 Design for Fiskars, pink and white cardstock
Accessories: Transperancy window sheet, white brads, ultra fine glitter, 2 way glue, dimensionals or mounting squares, corner rounder
Directions:
1. Cut pink card base to 8.5" X 5.5". Score and fold in half.
2. Cut Heart Explosion Paper to 4" X 5.25". Round corners with punch.
3. Trim Transparency to 5.5" X 1.5". Stamp heart with wings image with Staz-On and set aside to dry.
4. Stamp plain heart image with Pretty in Pink, stamp "adore" sentiment with Black ink in center. Cut out heart design and glue in place.
5. Turn transparency over and use two-way glue to color the wing area. Sprinkle with ultra fine white or iridescent glitter and tap off access. Set aside to dry.
6. When transparency is dry, center winged heart image, right side up, over the plain heart image. Fold excess transparency around the back of the paper and glue in place with double sided tape.
7. Use a piercing tool to make holes for brads. Affix brads and tap lightly with a hammer to secure in place.
8. Attach mounting squares or dimensionals to the back of this layer and center it on the card base.

Valentine Treat Tote

Stamps: L'Amour
Ink: SU Basic Black & Brilliance Pearlescent Crimson & Orchid
Paper: Bazzill Bling Black Tie, red and white cardstock
Other: Marvy Mega heart punch and Giga scallop heart punch, Mini-Dome Tote (Provo Craft), Ranger Liquid Pearls, striped ribbon, swirl clip, rhinestone sticker, markers, small oval punch
Directions
1) Sponge the whole tin with Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid. Stamp the solid heart in the same color.
2) Stamp the 'you' heart stamp in the Pearlescent crimson over the top of the solid hearts.
3) Attach the ribbon to the tin using sticky dots.
4) Stamp the big heart image in black and color in with markers. Cut out image.
5) Punch out a red heart with the Mega heart punch, and a black heart with the Giga scallop heart punch. Layer.
6) Dab on the Ranger Liquid Pearls inside all of the black scallops and lay flat for a few hours. Attach the whole heart ensemble to the tin with foam sticky squares.
7) Stamp "be mine" in black ink and punch it out using the oval punch. Attach to ribbon with swirl clip.

Pucker Up

Stamps: Once Upon a Time, In the Background, and Petite Phrases (sentiment)
Ink: SU Old Olive and Cool Caribbean
Paper: Dark green carstock, SU Cool Caribbean, Mellow Moss, Marigold Morning
Accessories: Paper piercer, a scrap of ribbon, various circle punches, SU scallop circle punch
Directions:
1. Cut paper to 3 1/2 x 10" - fold in half
2. Cut Moss to 1 1/2 x 5", stamp with In the Background "swirly circles" image and adhere to a white strip of paper cut to 1 3/4 x 5".
3. Pierce along the bottom edge of the white with a paper piercer. Adhere this strip to Cool Caribbean cut to 2 x 5".
4. Add the striped ribbon to the top of the moss paper and adhere the layered strips to the card base.
5. Stamp the frog in Old Olive and color. Punch with a 1" punch, layer with a 1 1/8" dark green paper, a 1 1/4" marigold morning circle and then mount onto a Cool Caribbean SU scallop circle punch, pierce the scallops, and adhere with pop dots to the card.
6. Add a knot of ribbon to either side of the scallop.
7. Stamp "pucker up" sentiment in Cool Caribbean and trim around words, adhere to card base.

Pink and White Ballerina

Stamps: Ballernia and Celebration Sayings
Ink: SU Real Red and Basic Gray
Paper: Red and White cardstock, KI Memories Pink Stripe
Accessories: Marvy Giga and Mega Scallop Oval punches, SU Key Tag Punch, Stickles glitter glue, Prima Flowers, red grosgrain ribbon, pink and white brads, scallop scissors, watercolor crayons, aquapainter, mini-glue dots.
Directions:
1. Cut white cardstock to a 4 1/4x5 1/2" card.
2. Cut striped paper to 4"x5 1/4" adhere to white cardstock.
3. Stamp the ballerina on a piece of white cardstock with basic gray ink. Use watercolor crayons and aquapainter to color the image. Punch out the ballerina with Mega oval punch, and frame with a red Giga scallop oval. Use the paper piercing tool and punch holes around the scallop oval.
4. Cut a strip of white cardstock 1 1/2"x 5 1/4", and using scallop scissors, cut one side of the paper. Attach the red ribbon to the white cardstock and adhere to card.
5. Stamp "Happy Valentine's Day" with real red on white cardstock. Use key tag punch for sentiment. Adhere to bottom right side of card.
6. Add brads to prima flowers and adhere them to card with mini glue dots.
7. Attach ballerina oval to the card with dimensionals.
8. Add stickles to ballerina crown, sleeves, and "tu-tu". **Allow stickles to dry completely** |
Valentine's Day Cupcake Treats

Stamp: Cupcake
Accessories: Black ink, Copic markers, Marvy punches, ribbon, Cuttlebug embossing plate, cupcake papers & lolly pop sticks.
Cupcake Lolly Pop Sticks:
1. Stamp the Simply Single Cupcake on white cardstock and punch out with a 1 3/4" circle punch.
2. Color the cupcake with markers and glitter pens as desired.
3. Punch out 2 circle per stamped image of red cardstock using the Marvy Uchida Super Scallop Circle Punch (1 7/8").
4. Attach the stamped image to one of the red scallop circles and then tape it to a lolly pop stick. (Note: the lolly pop sticks can be found in the cake decorating section of your craft store).
5. Attach 2 foam pop up dots to either side of the stick; however, do not put them on the tape. Then attach the other red scallop punch to the back.
6. Make 12 lolly pop sticks and wrap them in groups of 6 with a ribbon.
3x3 Cupcake Gift Card:
1. Stamp the Simply Single Cupcake on white cardstock and punch out with a 1 3/4" circle punch.
2. Color the cupcake with markers and glitter pens as desired.
3. Punch out 1 circle per stamped image of red cardstock using the Marvy Uchida Super Scallop Circle Punch (1 7/8").
4. Attach the stamped image to the red scallop circle.
5. Cut a piece of red cardstock 6"x3" and score at the 3" mark.
6. Emboss a piece of white cardstock 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" using an embossing plate & attach to the red card base.
7. Attach the scallop circle and tie a ribbon around the top of the card.
