Chipboard Heart
Designed by: Tiffany Ervin -- Guest Designer

Stamps: Simply Singles Wonderful Mother
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Paper: White Lace from KI Memories Pop Culture Collection. Light purple and white floral paper, and blank white cardstock.
Other: Making Memories scallop heart chipboard, vintage trinket pin, and kid floral button, silk flowers and ribbon, and Marvy oval punch, scallop oval punch, and ¼ " hole punch.

Directions:
1. Start by taking the lace paper and cutting to size to fit the back shape of the heart chipboard. Adhere with glue and trim off any unsightly edges. NOTE: You may attach any type of paper as the background for the chipboard, but attaching lace paper with designated, pre-cut holes, allows you to secure embellishments with ease.
2. Next, take 2 to 3 assorted florals with stems and twist tie the stems together. Push the stems in and between the lace paper so that the stems are not showing.
3. Take the 2" satin, lavender ribbon and secure through the mid-section of the chipboard, tie the ribbon slightly to the right hand side so that there will be room to add the stamped sentiment. Secure ribbon tightly so that the florals will remain in place.
4. Add a vintage trinket pin by slicing through the knot portion of the ribbon.
5. Using black ink, stamp the 'Wonderful Mother' sentiment onto plain white cardstock and punch out with a regular, oval punch.
6. Punch out a large, oval scallop shape using a light purple and white floral paper and adhere the sentiment on top. Hole punch both ends of the scallop shape to adhere the ribbon.
7. Take the ½" white satin ribbon and thread through the hole punches, leaving one slightly longer end on the left of the sentiment, slip the remainder of the ribbon behind the lace paper and bring it back out in front to tie both ends together.
8. Adhere the purple and green floral button to the upper left hand portion of the sentiment.

Various ways to present this gift to your recipient: in addition to presenting this as a gift by itself; you may also choose to use it as a gift topper on an existing wrapped box; fasten a ribbon on the back of the chipboard and use as a door hanger; or insert the entire chipboard in a boxed frame for mounting on a wall.
